Children's Ministries

Children's ministries are many of the most important ministries at South Canyon Baptist - and certainly the most fun. Ministries range according to purpose, and descriptions of each are listed below.

Christmas Program

Children’s Christmas Practice will be each Sunday at 6:30—7:30 pm in the Youth Room. Please be there.

Nursery

South Canyon's nursery is at the west end of the church, just past the foyer. It is open for all regular services Sundays (including Crosslife) and Wendesday evenings.

Children's Church

Children between the ages of 2 and 5 can attend Children's Church during the sermon portion of the regular service. There, children learn about God with age-appropriate activities. Teachers rotate on a monthly basis, and slots are available for both subs and regular teachers. If you're interested, contact Laura Orr or the church's office.

Note: Beginning September of 2008, our Children’s Church will move to a new schedule. Children’s Church will not operate on the first Sunday of each month. We will continue to offer Children’s Church for the rest of each month but no Children’s Church for September 7, October 5, November 2, or December 7.

Sunday School

Often called "KidsLife," Sunday School classes for children take place before the worship service at the same time as the adult CrossLife classes (9:00am).
