  MinistriesMinistry is, in its purest form, everything we as believers do to honor and glorify God. At South Canyon Baptist, we use the term ministries to label broadly all the things we do, from teaching Sunday School (aka CrossLife) to supporting missionaries, to helping others with chores. If it is done to help others and glorify God, it is ministry. We encourage all our members to participate in the ministry of the local church body. Such participation is not just for the sake of making the church "run." It is to gather us together as a body, working and ministering together to "know Christ and make him known" (to quote our purpose statement). The apostle John said people would know we are Christians by our love, and participating in ministry together is a concrete way for us to express the love of Christ.
