Missions & Witness Team

The witness team oversees the missions giving of South Canyon Baptist Church and also offers opportunities for short and long term mission projects. The team seeks to make Christ known in Rapid City, the Black Hills area, South Dakota, the United States, and around the world. The team encourages outreach efforts designed to present the Gospel to people in our community, residents and visitors alike. If you are interested in being a part of this Ministry, please contact a member of the Witness Team for opportunities where you can put your spiritual gifts to work.

Short Term Missions

Interested in participating in a short-term missions trip? South Canyon Baptist Church organizes missions trips all over the world. Recent trips have been to Winnipeg, Canada and Matamoras, Mexico. Money is not allowed to be an obstacle - missions is not supposed to be the work only of the rich, so if God is leading you to participate, please speak up when the opportunity arises.
