LIFE GROUPS

What are Life Groups?

Life Groups are smaller groups where you will experience fellowship that encourages discipleship. In a Life Group you will be encouraged to grow in your faith and help others find and follow Jesus. Some meet on Sundays on our church campus at 9am, others meet in homes or coffee shops during the week.
Why do I need to join a Life Group?

According to the book of Acts the early church met together in the temple courts (large gatherings) and in homes (smaller groups). Jesus also spent most of his time with a smaller group of 12 men. We believe that Life Groups are where you will get the most meaningful traction in your spiritual growth.
How can I get involved in a Life Group?

If you’re new to SCBC, we encourage you first of all to attend a Discovery (membership) class to learn more about our beliefs and values, and what it would look like to join the church. You can use the Guest Card at our Connect Desk or online, to communicate your interest in finding a Life Group. You can also email or call the church office.
